Vinyl Record Bowls

Vinyl Record Bowls DIY

You will need:
-A large cookie sheet

-A medium size oven proof bowl. (We used a medium sized glass mixing bowl)

-Vinyl records

-Oven mits

-Oven

Step 1:
-Preheat oven to 200 degrees
Ignore my ugly cookie sheet,
it serves its purpose for crafting!

Step 2:
-Place bowl upside down on cookie sheet
and center record on top of the bowl.

Step 3:
-Put in oven for 6-8 minutes

Step 4:
*Complete this step carefully!
-Pull bowl out of oven, and place melted vinyl inside the bowl. Shape as desired, and let cool. Let cool for roughly 10 minutes and remove from bowl. Your bowl should be ready to use!
-You can shape it in anyway you want, they're fun to experiment with!

**Do not wash these with extremely hot water or in dishwasher as the vinyl will get too hot!

**Just wipe with a wet cloth to clean!

THESE CAN BE USED AS FUN POPCORN BOWLS OR EVEN AS WALL DECORATIONS!

Have fun, and let me know how they turn out!

Vacation!

Boy, have I been busy! I just got back from vacation and am taking an online class this summer, which is my lame explanation of why I haven't crafted lately. I got a new sewing machine for my birthday, and plan to teach myself, so look forward to lots of experimenting! I also have a ton of stuff on my to-do list and hope to get back on track soon! Thanks for all the page views and I hope you're all having fun crafting! Let me know how your crafts are coming, I'd love to post pictures!
